English class has become one of my favorite classes. There's some humor, some creativity, and some imagination. An example of how epic it is would be an example of Flimibuff.
Since we are to begin reading Lord of the Flies my english teacher decided to give us a project. Our project was that all of the students were stranded on a desert island. There were no adults since they fell out of the plane and died or something like that. We had to come up with things like a slogan, flag, anthem, food source, map of the island, entertainment, clothing, a language, a constitution/government system, currency and so on and so forth. So really we had to create a unique civilization to Flimibuff.
Well, culturing our civilization was interesting. It started with the fact that our flag was of a chef in a curly black wig, who was buff, and wearing an apron that read '#1 Chef'. It's a wonderful flag, I know. Our slogan was 'A couard dies 1,000 deaths. A soldier dies but once." A seal was litteraly a seal with a beach ball, it doesn't get more original than that. Our anthem was Heat of the Moment by Asia...not quite sure why...
Our food source was chocolate chips, since they are apparently grown on Flimibuff. Our language was adding 'uff' to the end of every adjective. It was a very uniqueuff idea, no? We had a constitution and elected a leader and eventually voted someone off the island and fed her to the sharks since our Constitution never said we couldn't.
All in all, it was one of the best english classes. Ever.

That's a really funny story, we're doing Flimibuff right now in my English class. I may have to borrow some of your ideas, I'm really stumped right now and they sound pretty good :)
